Meet Dr. William H. Butterfield
General Dentist | BSC, DDS, McGill University
Dr. Butterfield graduated from McGill University with a BSc in Microbiology in 1990, and he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995. Dr. Butterfield has practiced dentistry at the Smyth Dental Centre for over 20 years and focuses primarily on restorative and implant services, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and periodontal and oral surgery.
While Dr. Butterfield enjoys all aspects of general dental care, he has a keen interest in the treatment and management of temporomandibular disorders, utilizing appliance therapy and Botox injections.

In addition to Dr. Butterfield’s general family practice, he has been hired by Canadian Insurance Companies, to comment on suspected claimant’s Temporomandibular Disorders, which are the results of motor vehicle accidents.
Dr. Butterfield is married and has two children.
